I am a member of the Institute of Professional Willwriters (IPW). In order to become a member I have completed a Will writing course and taken the Institutes examination which comprises both a written examination and an assessed role play on taking instructions and writing a Will.
This has given me the skills to be able to write your Will competently and being a member of the IPW ensures that I comply with their Code of Practice.
I am more than happy to meet you in your own home to discuss your Will and how you wish it to be written as well as being able to advise you on how best to do this. These days, writing a Will is often complicated by second marriages and stepchildren and there are many ways to help you decide how best to proceed.
The process can feel invasive when you are talking about your own death and your most personal finances and belongings. It is my job to help you reach conclusions that are satisfactory to you and your family and ensure that this is done not only in a professional manner but by making you feel as comfortable as possible throughout the process.

These documents raise many questions of their own and again I can help guide you to making the decisions that are right for you.
It is important that both you and your Powers of Attorney understand the implications of both giving the Power of Attorney and the responsibilities of being a Power of Attorney. I will explain these to you in complete and open detail so you can make all of the right decisions for everyone concerned.
I will also guide you through the complete process from beginning to end from completing the forms to when we receive your Lasting Powers of Attorney which have been validated by the Office of the Public Guardian.
